Some Bunny

Last Saturday we had planted a section of garden with some pretty flowering plants. Notice those circled areas.  They are starting from the back, Delphinium, a pretty pink flowering bush that I don't know the name of, and the six plants along the front and side are Portulacas also known as Moss Rose.

I found that instead we were planting bunny food.
Evidence #1  Pretty pink flowers left while their stems have been eaten.
Evidence #2 Delphinium flowers have been beheaded and left.

Evidence #3 Pretty Portulacas are now nothing but stems.  Leaves chewed off.

This is what happens to bunnies that hang around where they shouldn't be hanging. Don't exactly know how this happened, but there is one less bunny to munch my plants.

May your gardens be more lush and fruitful than mine have been.  If you have any ideas or hints on how to co-exist with these critters please let me know.

  1. Put the bunny in a cage.lol... we have a house bunny. bummer about your plants. You may have to put a little barrier around your flower bes to keep them out. Although bunnies can jump pretty well. Good luck.
